Lately, There has been a wonderful spread of devotion to the
Blessed Sacrament of the altar among the faithful; there is a happy rivalry between the clergy and the laity in their
efforts to extend to our Divine Lord in His Sacrament of Love every
token of the deepest love and veneration.
Next to the intimate union of our souls with the beloved Jesus in Holy Communion, the piety of the devout Christian has found another method by which he can approach his Lord in the Holy Eucharist, namely the "Holy Hour".
This beautiful service was suggested by real faith and burning love of Adoration, Thanksgiving, and Reparation. The various Eucharistic Associations and Tabernacle Societies have introduced into parishes the weekly or monthly Holy Hour.
This little book goes forth, in a very humble way, to join the many other Eucharistic gems that are placed at our disposal to enhance the Holy Hour.
